About
I love the human body, female form, and emotion. My work is a journey into female sexuality, internalized male gaze, and socioeconomic sexual exchange of power. As an immigrant, my work is highlighted by the mail order bride trope along with the cultural experience of being raised in a scarce post-Soviet society.
I wish for my paintings to appear as appealing images that reflect the good things in life but also carry hidden meanings of uncertainty, fear, and doubt.
